Meet the President of O.G.I.G.
Ms. Kirsten Götz-Neumann,
Physiotherapist, gait analysis instructor and president of the Observational Gait Instructor Group (O.G.I.G.), lecturer at Hildesheim University of Applied Sciences, health insurance-recognized specialist teacher PNF and instructor of the international PNF Association.
Kirsten Götz-Neumann passed her state examination at the Orthopaedic University Hospital in Cologne in 1986. She then worked as a PT in various hospitals, clinics and practices. From 1990 to 2000, she worked as a lecturer in physiotherapy at the German Academy of Employees Bonn/Leverkusen. She was responsible for teaching special physiotherapeutic methods such as neurology, PNF, KG technique and gait analysis and, in addition to her teaching activities, acquired her pedagogical qualification at the German Headquarters for Public Health Care in 1994.
Since 2001, she has been working independently as a physiotherapist, gait analysis expert and rehabilitation consultant, including at the Institute of Biomechanics at the German Sport University Cologne.
Ms. Götz-Neumann is president of the Observational Gait Instructor Group, O.G.I.G., an international association of gait and movement analysis experts founded in Los Angeles in 1998, including the Rancho Los Amigos National Rehabilitation Center and the University of Southern California, USA
